Seismic Strengthening & Structural Concrete
From the Regent Beverly Wilshire to the Watermark tower in Westwood — structural concrete strengthening executed in occupied, high-profile buildings.
Not all seismic work is mandated. Owners strengthen buildings ahead of transactions, as part of repositioning, to protect operations, or voluntarily — like the seismic retrofit of the Apple Tower Theatre. Lehigh Construction performs structural concrete strengthening across every building class: high-rise office, hotels, institutional and civic buildings.
Our self-performed crews place structural concrete and shotcrete, install wall strengthening and reinforcement, and execute the careful demolition and rebuilding this work requires — supervised in-house, with an engineer's eye on every load path.
Public-sector and institutional owners we have performed structural work for include the LAUSD headquarters, the Department of Water & Power, the VA Hospital campus in North Hills, City of Los Angeles facilities, and Grand Central Market.
